Youth Garden Educator AmeriCorps Service Site: Sawtooth Botanical Garden, Ketchum, ID Start Date: 9/01/10 End Date: 8/31/11 Service Hours: 1,700 Become an AmeriCorps member with the Sawtooth Botanical Garden and Lewis-Clark Service Corps AmeriCorps. Position includes leading garden and ecology based activities for youth ages 2-9. Other responsibilities include leading after school education, the Annual Bug Zoo, fall programming, Snow School, and summer day camps. Applicants must have a passion for science based education, be self motivated, and have experience with youth.
